House in Portobello

In the picturesque neighborhood of Portobello, Dublin, I undertook an interior renovation project within a charming red brick terraced house. With a careful approach, our focus was primarily on the ground floor, aiming to create a harmonious and flowing space. By removing internal walls, it successfully opened up the area, allowing for a seamless transition throughout the ground floor. As part of the transformation, the decision was made to relocate the ground floor bathroom, making room for an extended and modernized kitchen. Upstairs, two generously-sized bedrooms now offer a cozy retreat, complemented by the addition of a new main bathroom that blends contemporary aesthetics with practicality. This thoughtful renovation artfully balances the preservation of the home's traditional appeal with the integration of functional and stylish design elements, resulting in a comfortable and inviting living space.
